13th Anti-Corruption Compliance in China Summit 2019

Tackling the challenge of anti-corruption and bribery in China at every level

Anatoly Yakorev has been invited to be Chairman of this summit by its organizer Jimmy Wang and will cover global and Russia’s AC challenges in this capacity at the summit. The summit will bring together industry leaders and government officials to raise and discuss issues related to the #anti-corruption environment and challenges for #compliance in China. Best practices and practical insights into AC and compliance training and third party due-diligence will be brought up and discussed. Also TRACE officially supports this summit.

The agenda among others has the following items to address:

  • Chinese Anti-unfair Competition Law and commercial bribery investigations by the Chinese Government
  • Latest FCPA and M&A risks for Chinese enterprises overseas
  • Pharmaceutical industry anti-commercial bribery policies
  • The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its impact on enterprise anti-bribery compliance

A lot of companies participate in this summit each year with many of them being giants from various industries. A. Yakorev will offer a perspective from Russia in the context of how Russia addresses anti-corruption compliance while building a digital economy and how compliance is evolving in a country being under sanctions.

Anatoly Kilyachkov, an independent anti-corruption scholar, ACFE member, contributed to the preparation of the presentation for the 13th Anti-corruption Summit in China. Also he will speak at XIV Annual ACFE Fraud Risk Management conference in Moscow Oct. 9-10, 2019 with a report on “Global risks in cyberspace.”
